Autobiography 2

I know the 3rd grade we lived in Virginia. I remember I left my dog Lucky out in the snow and was yelled at for it. Was several hours and arthritis set in. I recall the steep hill in our back yard. The 2-story house sort of we lived in. The time I was shoveling and the local newspaper took my picture and I was on the front page the next day all wrapped up. I recall mom buying a wooden dowel to fix the axel on my GI Joe toy vehicle. I recall the 9-foot tall stuffed mouse my sister got for a Christmas gift. I recall she and I shared a huge dormer like room and our beds were built into the walls on opposite sides of the room. That was the last place she and I shared a room.

4th grade we moved to central Massachusetts again. It was either Worcester or East Long Meadow. We lived in both places and I confuse the time frames. I remember our friend’s big family of 13 kids; I remember listening to Bread and Bob Dylan on the record player. The parties my parents would have of fellow insurance salesmen coming over to the basement rec room and them talking shop while I listened in.
